4 D Ultrasound
4D Ultrasound is a 3 dimensional ultrasonography in
real time. This technology has become very popular
with prospective parents and grandparents and adds an
even closer bonding of parents with their unborn
child.
Medically, the 4D Ultrasound is very helpful in
identifying abnormalities in the unborn baby's face,
lips, and palate. The view of the valves of the baby's
heart can be seen exceptionally well with 4D
Ultrasound and any abnormality that is found with
traditional ultrasound is even clearer with 4D
Ultrasound.
We are pleased to provide 4D Ultrasound in our
office and Lisa Jameson who performs the ultrasound
has over 10 years experience in obstetric ultrasound.
We routinely perform an anatomic survey at 20
weeks gestation and another at 30 weeks to follow
fetal growth.
